Heung-min Son continued his fine run of form for Tottenham with two goals in their Boxing Day victory over Bournemouth. Mauricio Pochettino’s men won 5-0 against the Cherries to go second in the Premier League table, courtesy of a brace from Son and efforts from Lucas Moura and Christian Eriksen.
Son has been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks, scoring and creating nine goals in seven games in all competitions, and supporters have been delighted with his contribution. The South Korean international will be away in the New Year due to his participation in the Asian Cup, and his fortunes in front of goal will lead to Tottenham missing him more than they ever thought they would.

Harry Kane is Spurs’ top scorer this season with 12 goals in 19 Premier League appearances, but Son is now second in the list with seven from nine starts. Moura is third with six goals in 16 outings. Fans can’t believe how good Son has been this season and are desperate for his run to continue.
Tottenham’s form has been outstanding during his upturn in form, with Pochettino’s side enjoying a seven-game unbeaten run and now being second only to Liverpool in the league. Whether they can maintain such results in the second-half of the season remains to be seen, however.
