‘Superb’, ‘Best player at Goodison’ – some fans praise Tottenham man after Everton win

|

Tottenham Hotspur picked up all three points on Sunday afternoon, thrashing Everton 6-2 at Goodison Park with Heung-min Son having a hand in three of their goals. The 26-year-old has been in fine form of late and continued his impressive run with two goals and an assist against the Toffees.

After Theo Walcott opened the scoring for Everton, it was Son who equalised minutes later. His second goal of the game was Tottenham’s fifth and came after the hour mark. The South Korean’s assist for Harry Kane came in the 74th minute. Some supporters took to social media praise his performance on the day.

Son has scored and created eight goals in as many Premier League starts this season and is making up for lost time after missing three of Tottenham’s first four games of the campaign due to his participation in the Asian Games.

He failed to score in his first five league appearances and found himself dropped from the starting lineup for back-to-back outings with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City, but he’s impressed ever since.

Son has had his hand in a goal in six of Tottenham’s last seven league outings and is becoming a key player for Mauricio Pochettino.
