Mousa Sissoko delivered another solid performance as Tottenham thrashed Bournemouth 5-0 at Wembley. The 29-year-old started at the heart of the midfield alongside Harry Winks and helped Spurs keep their third clean sheet in four games in all competitions.
Sissoko barely gave away the ball in 90 minutes, completing 93% of his passes and making 69 touches, and has alleviated any fears fans may have had when Mousa Dembele, Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama were ruled out through injury. The French international is now one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Dier,Dembele & Wanyama all out injured but Sissoko has stepped up & been first class ???? He would be 1st choice even when all these are fit

Mauricio Pochettino’s faith in Sissoko has been completely vindicated and Tottenham are thriving with the powerhouse in the middle of the park. They have won six and drawn one of their last seven games across the board, conceding just four goals for their troubles. Despite not having their first-choice midfielders available, Tottenham haven’t suffered.
