“We don’t deserve this guy” – Many Spurs fans in awe of resurfaced remarks from 26 y/o star

Loads of Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted to some old quotes from our skipper Harry Kane regarding his future at the club.

Speaking to The Sun in 2017, the 26-year-old said that football is not about the money and that he is a Spurs fan because he loves our club. This comes after Kane was linked with a move to the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United, according to Diario Madridista.

As a result, Last Word on Spurs re-posted his comments on Twitter. While fans will be encouraged with his comments, questions will remain as to whether we will qualify for next season’s Champions League.

We currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, four points behind Manchester United in fifth place. The Red Devils will qualify for Europe’s premier tournament if Manchester City’s two-year ban from European football is upheld.

With this in mind, supporters loved what Kane had to say and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that “we don’t deserve this guy”, and he certainly isn’t wrong.
