Spurs continued their winning start to the new Premier League season with a 1-0 win away to a tricky Wolves side on Sunday, thanks to a Dele Alli penalty.
It was also Hugo Lloris’ 300th appearance for the club, while new boss Nuno Espirito Santo returned to Molineux for the first time since leaving Wolves at the end of last season – and it was also a return to the team for Harry Kane who has been at the centre of attention this transfer window.
However, it was Steven Bergwijn who grabbed the most attention from the game, thanks to his incredible piece of individual brilliance to evade a double-team and set-up a chance for Harry Kane.

The Dutch winger took the ball in his stride near the touchline, with Max Kilman and Raul Jimenez closing him down from each side, but Bergwijn managed to roll the ball onto the outside of his right foot before flicking the ball past the Wolves defence into space and bursting away.
Unfortunately, after he set-up Kane, the England captain failed to capitalise on the former PSV forward’s sensational play – but the highlight is a sure sign that he is building up his confidence each and every game.
The trick bamboozled not just the Wolves defenders, but the Spurs fans too, with one tweeting: “Had to watch it like 100 times to figure out what happened. So quick, lovely bit of skill.”

Some fans believe that this is exactly what Bergwijn needed to do to help realise his potential and find his confidence, with one supporter tweeting: “Absolute filth, didnāt know he had this in his locker, he needs to play with confidence and enjoy his football, start playing direct and taking more shots! Thereās a top player in there!”

Fingers crossed we get to see more of Stevie over the next few weeks, because he could definitely become a key player for the team over the course of this season.
