Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were not impressed with comments made by former manager Mauricio Pochettino about South Korean forward Son Heung-min.
The Argentinian tactician was sacked as Spurs boss last November after a string of poor performances left Daniel Levy with no choice but to replace him with former Manchester United and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Pochettino ended his managerial stint in north London with a record of 160 wins, 60 draws, 73 losses and a point-per-match average of 1.84 from 293 matches on the Tottenham touchline.
Was Daniel Levy harsh on Mauricio Pochettino?
Yes
No
Speaking on the High Performance Podcast, the unemployed coach believes that Son would have left the club, had he stood in his way and prevented him from participating in the Asian Games in 2018. He hinted that he does not get the credit he deserves for keeping such a key player at the club.
With this in mind, supporters were not impressed with the Argentinian and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he needs to shut his mouth, while another cruelly described him as a “trophy dodger”.
Can he just get a job now and stop selling stories about spurs๐

Why would he feel the need to even say this? Who does it help?? Some things are best unsaid in public. Unless there is an ulterior motive?

My understanding is that if he had not played in the Asian games he would have had to serve 2 years national service thus being unable to play at all in prem league for that period and levy would have insisted he goes.
