Some Tottenham Hotspur fans hailed manager Jose Mourinho after his act of kindness during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Premier League season was postponed until at least April 30th due to the illness and with the number of cases in the UK on the rise, it appears that this date would be an unrealistic expectation.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea boss surprised vulnerable elderly people who have been told to self-isolate by turning up with food and other essentials.
Will Jose Mourinho be a success at Spurs?
Yes
No
Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge shared photographs on Twitter of the Portuguese tactician arriving with a carrier bag full of food in Enfield, in order to help those who are less fortunate than himself.
As a result, supporters heaped praise on Mourinho and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan was proud of him and simply stated “my manager”, while another said that she loves it.
He’s officially my manager.
