According to news from the Evening Standard, reported Spurs target Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg ‘wants to join‘ Tottenham as manager Jose Mourinho prepares his transfer wish list – prompting some Lilywhites to discuss the £35 million-rated stalwart on social media.
Described as a ‘leader‘ by teammate Angus Gunn recently, Hojbjerg has been on our radar for some time according to reports, with the Saints star refusing to pen a new deal and St Mary’s.
As a result, the 24-year-old midfielder was stripped of the captaincy amid rumours he wishes to depart the south coast, but now this update can reveal that Hojbjerg does in fact allegedly want to join up with Spurs.
Indeed, we would even be willing to exchange Kyle Walker-Peters in a swap deal to bring down the £35m price tag – with Lilywhites going on to have their say in response to footage of Hojbjerg on Twitter.

He’s very much a Jose type player. Sign him up.

would be class signing, will allow lo celso and ndombele, if he gets game time next season, more freedom to roam into the final third

He’s a very good player with premier league experience,so no need for a bedding in period.

We’ve bought some decent players from Southampton previously. Hojbjerg would be a smart buy too

I wish to see the Norwich couple Aarons and Cantwell come to Spurs. I rate Cantwell more than Grelish. Aarons is far better than Serge.
