Tottenham fans have got some real legends behind them at the club. The supporters who are old enough to remember it will have very fond memories of Paul Miller’s time at Spurs, as he helped the club to win two FA Cups and the UEFA Cup in the early 1980’s.

However, those days are long gone and the former centre-back turns 60-years-old today, bringing loads of Lilywhites the opportunity to share some of their memories of the defender, a nice thing to do given the current struggles that Spurs find themselves in.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side could really do with some of the trophy-winning expertise that Paul Miller and his earlier Spurs side had. However, it’s not that easy, and instead, the fans are just enjoying looking back and celebrating Miller’s career.
You can see what they’ve had to say here:
Happy birthday Maxi. What an era you played in. If only they all cared as much as you and the early/mid 80s boys.

Happy Birthday Paul. You weren’t the most talented player in the side that won that trophy but you had something the current team sadly lack. Heart, pride and desire. And of course winners medals. Have a great day.

The Lilywhites absolutely love Paul Miller and will hope the current crop of players can match his trophy haul at the club.
