Fresh reports surrounding reported summer target Thomas Meunier have caused plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans to get a tad excited over the prospect of landing him.
Both the Times and the Daily Express have run stories claiming that Spurs have opened negotiations with the Paris Saint-Germain right-back, who is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to join another club.
The former source even claims that Jose Mourinho may even sell one of Serge Aurier or Kyle Walker-Peters in order to raise funds.
And it’s caused a positive reaction in north London with many wanting the Belgian at the club.
Some believe he’s exactly that Mourinho’s side needs as he’s “solid” and “composed” whilst one supporter even claimed that he was a much better choice than fellow target Max Aarons.
Meunier has played 27 times this campaign for the Ligue 1 champions, where he has provided one goal and two assists, via Transfermarkt – who also value the 28-year-old at £21.6m.
