Spurs Word On The Tweet

“Wow”, “Get him gone”, “Levy must be furious” – Lots of Spurs fans fuming as news emerges

|

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been left fuming this week after Jose Mourinho revealed some disappointing news in his post-match press conference on Wednesday night.

Club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele has been ruled out for the rest of the season, meaning he will miss their final two matches as the north Londoners attempt to qualify for Europe.

To say that the 23-year-old has endured a tumultuous debut campaign at Spurs would be an understatement. He’s only managed to average 49 minutes per appearance but has provided two goals and four assists, via Transfermarkt.

Would you sell Ndombele this summer?

100% yes

No way!

Ndombele’s fitness and injury problems have been a recurring problem, leading to Jose Mourinho calling him out publicly earlier in the campaign.

The Frenchman has played only 64 minutes since the Premier League’s return to action too, which is why many members of the Spurs faithful have pondered his future at the club.

Some fans even went as far as demanding that they sell him, blasting him for being an “absolute flop”.

Spurs purchased Ndombele for £55m nearly a year ago – here’s the rest of the reaction:

I bet these cunts are the same people who were moaning And groaning about Moussa Sissoko a couple of years ago when we bought him from Newcastle United for £30M. All quiet now.
Any report from some nonce masquerading as a journalist in the low class press is pounced upon by the pussies and it’s all doom and gloom at Spurs.

I was one of those having a go at Sissoko and quite right too at the time. He was bloody awful. I am one of those who now think if he could score goals and not panic in front of goal, he could be one of the best midfield players in the world! In Ndombele I see glimpses of Dembele (our Dembele!) and would stick with him for the long term.

Well said Ray, I think he’ll turn good.
I think you could probably write a better colum, you just seem to be having trouble spelling the word can’t but don’t let that stop you. 😀

Does anyone else see the irony in using Sissoko as a benchmark to work towards? Some fans are laughable. He wasn’t injured sitting on the bench, he’s obviously injured himself in training. He could be carrying a long term injury and keeps aggravating it in a rush to be out there playing. We won’t get near the fee we paid for him, in this window so why sell him? I’d give him more time to adjust….like Sissoko was given and then see if he’s cut out for this league. He‘s a youngster in a different country and was signed by the previous manager. Some players can hit the ground running but others can’t. I imagine it’s harder to do when you have the added pressure of being injured and carry the title of “clubs record signing”.

Signed by Poch. Maybe that’s who he came to play for. Not the joke of a coach we have now !!
