Spurs Word On The Tweet

“Phenomenal” – Lots of Spurs fans laud £28.8m-rated “beast” who’s “better than Bergwijn”

Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of qualifying for the Europa League were strengthened this evening as they clinched all three points on their travels.

Jose Mourinho’s side beat Newcastle United 3-1 at St James’ Park to overtake Sheffield United into seventh place.

Harry Kane netted a second-half brace after Heung-min Son opened the scoring for Spurs for a second successive match.

But it was his partner on the other wing that drew the plaudits from fans watching from home.

Much of the Spurs faithful were more than happy with the display from Lucas Moura as he followed on from his fine performance against the Gunners on Sunday.

Per SofaScore, the £28.8m-rated winger landed a cool 7.4 rating after recording four successful dribbles, four tackles and one key pass. He also won a total of 11 duels.

It’s led to high praise indeed with some calling Moura “phenomenal” and “amazing” whilst one supporter went as far as claiming that he had been better than Steven Bergwijn since the restart last month.
