Spurs Word On The Tweet

“Waste of space” – Many Spurs fans slam “shocking” £28.8m ace who’s “been stealing a living”

Tottenham Hotspur showed genuine signs of that Jose Mourinho grit as they came out on top in the North London Derby earlier this afternoon.

A recent string of poor performances had put the pressure on Spurs but they bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Arsenal to leapfrog them into eighth, just three points from the league’s top six.

Arsenal took the lead early in the first half as Alexandre Lacazette scored a thunderbolt past Hugo Lloris but it lasted merely three minutes as Heung-min Son dinked an exquisite chip over the visiting goalkeeper.

Toby Alderweireld clinched all three points with a pinpoint header just nine minutes from time with the South Korean forward turning provider.

Who is better?

Harry Winks

Tanguy Ndombele

However, plenty of supporters were less than impressed with the performance from Harry Winks in the heart of the pitch.

Per SofaScore, the 24-year-old recorded a 96% passing accuracy, two tackles and three clearances but also committed four fouls, one of which resulting in a yellow card.

Some blasted him for being a “waste of space” and for “stealing a living” whilst others slammed him for being a “fraud.”

Here’s how the rest of the Spurs faithful reacted to the £28.8m-rated star’s display…
