Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have flocked to a transfer update from the Telegraph this week.
It’s claimed that Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is eyeing up a centre-back this summer amid reports linking the club with a move for veteran Thiago Silva, who is set to leave Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer this summer.
The north London outfit are set to lose Jan Vertonghen following the expiry of his contract whilst the future of Juan Foyth remains unclear with Leeds United mooted as a potential destination.

As a result of the latest report, some fans have been discussing who they want to sign – the Brazilian was mentioned but so too were Benfica’s Ruben Dias, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah and RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano.
It remains to be seen if Spurs hold interest in any of those players, of course.
Others have celebrated the news with expressions like “yesssss” and that it’s blatantly obvious the club needs a new centre-back.
