Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have flocked to an interesting transfer report that has emerged on social media.
According to MrRussoTM at Transfermarkt, Spurs are interested in Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha this summer but face competition from arch-rivals Arsenal, who still remain keen on the winger.
It’s claimed that Zaha has told the Eagles hierarchy of his desire to depart Selhurst Park at the end of the season in search of a new challenge whilst his agent is in talks with our north London rivals.
Who's a better winger?
Wilfried Zaha
Erik Lamela
The 27-year-old has been in decent form for Roy Hodgson this term, providing three goals and three assists from 31 league starts, via WhoScored, whilst also averaging 4.5 dribbles (third-most in the PL), 1.5 shots and 0.9 key passes per game.
It remains to be seen how much the Ivory Coast international would cost Spurs but a previous claim from the Evening Standard’s Jack Rosser hints that the south Londoners will hold firm over their £80m valuation.
And much of the Lilywhites faithful aren’t impressed by the link, claiming that he’s merely another Dele Alli with one supporter blasting him for being “overrated”.
Here’s the rest of the reaction…
The guy is like Dele , massively regressed since 17/18 . No thanks

Don’t need, can’t afford. So absolutely not. If we had the money, we would spend it elsewhere.
