Tottenham dealt blow over update on “sensational” 47-goal titan, Levy “made contact” – Report

|

According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport via Sport Witness, Tottenham face a ‘tough mission‘ to tempt Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik out of a more desired move away to Juventus – dealing a potential blow to chairman Daniel Levy’s hopes of landing the 47-goal maestro.

Indeed, as per Tuttosport, while Tottenham continue to press for Milik as a Harry Kane alternative, it appears the Poland international has his sights set on remaining in Serie A with European giants Juventus – much preferring a move to Turin over north London.

Would you bring Milik to Spurs?

Yes, no debate

No, hunt for another option

The outlet claims Milik wishes to join the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala at the Old Lady, with Spurs having ‘made contact‘ to discuss a potential move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Alongside Spurs, Atletico Madrid have also been attempting to dissuade the 6ft 1 titan from a move to Juve, but as it stands, Milik looks like he has his heart set on the Italian league leaders and not any other alternative.

The 26-year-old is said to be ‘very focused‘ on joining up with Maurizio Sarri, with both Tottenham and Atletico’s advances not receiving a ‘very good response‘.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly looking for a back up alternative to star striker Kane, who has suffered through some injury issues this season, and Milik has been reportedly seen by Levy as a real candidate to challenge the Englishman to a starting spot.

Described as ‘sensational‘ by Premier League boss Carlo Ancelotti who has previously worked with him, this update courtesy of Tuttosport can only mean bad news for the Lilywhites.
