Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is said to be dreaming about signing one target, in particular, this summer and going by the reaction from the Lilywhites faithful, he might as well keep on dreaming.
According to Foot Mercato, Spurs are the latest club to be linked to Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and claim that providing they sell a few players this summer, they could have enough financial clout to put in an offer.
The Portuguese boss was a keen admirer during his reign at Manchester United and it appears he’s still very much keen on creating a partnership with the Serb.
Would Spurs have the best midfield in the league if Savic joined?
Absolutely!
No way!
And you can’t blame him given he’s one of the most gifted and tenacious talents in European football right now. That’s summed up by interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and both Manchester giants.
The £57.6m-rated star has provided six goals and seven assists this term but many in north London struggle to believe that they’ll be able to land him in the summer.
However, some have called for the club to offer Tanguy Ndombele as bait whilst others have, of course, taken aim at Mr Daniel Levy.
