The Son Shines For Spurs Once Again Over Our New White Hart Lane

|

Tottenham Hotspur and South Korean superstar Son Heung-Min is beginning to make a habit of writing himself into our history books since we returned to our new White Hart Lane Stadium. Having scored our first Premier League goal against Crystal Palace to take that particular gong, in the midweek clash with Manchester City, he added his name to the Champions League plaque.

The game against Palace took Sonny until the 55th minute to secure his place in our history and he had to wait even longer for the CL quarter-final honour as his goal, and the winner to give us a narrow advantage, didn’t come up until the 78th minute.

Given Son’s efforts since the 26-year-old joined us back in August 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen, it had to be him or Harry Kane to keep the element of magic about it I think, but given Kane’s injury, Sonny is going to be absolutely key for us now, so the confidence boost certainly won’t do him any harm at all.

His place in our history certainly shouldn’t go unmentioned in any event.
