Spurs ready to show they mean business this summer with exciting bid launched

|

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs have made a bid of £53m for Real Betis man Giovani Lo Celso as they look to shake up their side for next season.

The Lilywhites clearly are ready to make this summer window theirs as we aim to build on a good season and, hopefully, a Champions League win.

We need to show we mean business, then, and signing the Argentine for this kind of money will highlight the fact that we’re not mucking about this summer.

Daniel Levy will want to remind many that Spurs are serious with their transfer business as well, and he’ll be aiming to beat other sides to this signing.

What it means for those currently at the club, meanwhile, remains to be seen. The likes of Christian Eriksen have had speculation over their future in recent weeks and such a deal could mean the door is open for him to go.
