Spurs Leave Fans With Question Marks Over Seven Players After Ajax Reveal

|

The Tottenham Hotspur first team jetted out with manager Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday as preparations continue for our Champions League Semi-Final second leg tie against Ajax later this evening.

With the side trailing 1-0 after a poor first leg at White Hart Lane, the tie is far from over and given how we finished the game we were unlucky not to draw level, so we have every chance of booking our place in the Final as long as we perform who we know we can.

Releasing the usual short video clip of the players boarding the plane for the journey, eagled eyed watchers would’ve noticed that there were no signs of seven players – Harry Kane, Davinson Sanchez, Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier were all noticeable by their absence, but obviously seeing Kane in particular would’ve been a surprise.

With Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen being seen, it would be a surprise if this just wasn’t the camera not catching everyone as our injury update ahead of the game isn’t really surprising.

Squad shown in clip:

Hugo Lloris, Paulo Gazzaniga, Kyle Walker-Peters, Juan Foyth, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, Moussa Sissoko, Oliver Skipp, George Marsh, Erik Lamela, Son Heung-Min, Fernando Llorente.
