Transfers are part of football and that much is something that will never change. Tottenham Hotspur are no exception to that, and they will have to do business like everyone else if they want success, so the recent Jose Mourinho comments ruling out a move for Bruno Fernandes have not gone down well.
José Mourinho has ended reported #thfc interest in Bruno Fernandes: "We are different club at this level. We are not a club that is going to make big transfers, nor is it going towards players who are developed or at a certain level of expectation, also economically." [Sport TV]

The Portuguese manager has ruled out a move for the Portuguese playmaker (Sky Sports), and whilst it won’t go down at all well with the fans, it’s something that they’re used to under the stewardship of Daniel Levy and ENIC, and it’s something they’re fuming with.
This time, a lot of them have gone mad and will be absolutely gutted that Fernandes now supposedly isn’t going to be making his way to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. What does happen in January will go a long way with Spurs fans, so it’s now up to the club to deliver.
Do we need Bruno Fernandes?
Yes
No
