The Welsh international was one of the finest players to represent the white and navy of Spurs in the 2010s, with the now 30-year-old attacker winning both the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards in the 2012/13 season, and Bale’s comments on Jose Mourinho have raised a few eyebrows from Tottenham fans.

The winger, who is now valued on Transfermarkt at £54m, admitted in an interview with BT Sport that he is a fan of Tottenham appointing Mourinho, an answer which saw plenty of Spurs fans on social media link Bale with a potential move back to the north London side.
