Poch Got This Call Right With Cup Changes According To These Spurs Fans

|

Tottenham Hotspur made a second trip this season to the London Stadium yesterday evening to face West Ham United in EFL Cup action.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino made huge changes to the side as other players and youngsters in particular, got their chance to stretch their legs and get a runout and it more than proved to be the right decision in hindsight as we took a 3-1 victory on the night to book our place in the quarter-finals.

A brace from Son Heung-Min and a single strike from Fernando Llorente saw us gain the advantage in the match and whilst plenty of players can take praise for their showing – and have – goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga was a big topic for talk as fans expressed their delight at seeing him back in the start XI when the team sheets were announced.

Although he conceded a goal on the day, from what I can tell, he failed to put a foot wrong otherwise in his performance so he definitely justified his inclusion once more.
