Player Ratings: Fulham 0-1 Spurs

|

A dogged display by Tottenham tonight with Harry Kane’s clinical goal, the only goal to separate the two sides. Match report here

Here’s how the players ranked:

Manager Rating- 6

Conte made the right decision persisting with the same line-up as he did against Manchester City. His decision to play Emerson Royal also paid off as the Brazilian impressed again.

Hugo Lloris- 6

Didn’t really have much to do today barring a few easy saves early in the first half.

Emerson Royal- 8

I have never been a fan of Emerson but I have to give him credit for his outstanding performance tonight. Tackle after tackle, the Brazilian was solid tonight. He also seemed far more confident and assured on the ball. My MOTM tonight.

Cristian Romero- 6

Was out battled and bullied by Mitrovic in the first half as he struggled to deal with the aerial balls into the striker. He did improve in the second half however seeming to get to grips with Mitrovic as the game went on, keeping the striker relatively quiet.

Eric Dier- 6

Similar to Romero, in the fact he struggled against the physicality of Mitrovic. Barring that, however, he cleared absolutely everything that came his way, with Fulham bombarding the Spurs box with crosses the majority of the night.

Ben Davies- 6

Struggled with Bobby Reid’s pace in the first half, but did improve in the second half keeping Reid quiet for the rest of the game.

Ivan Perisic- 5

Struggled to deal with the underlapping runs of Kenny Tete in the first half and also failed to stop a number of crosses into the box. His delivery was also slightly off tonight, improvements needed.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg- 6

Very sloppy on the ball today, one too many passes going astray but did do his job defensively, running himself into the ground as he usually does.

Rodrigo Bentancur- 6

Despite giving the ball a few times, he did help Spurs progress the ball from deep. Seemed absolutely out of his feet by the end of the game as he returns from injury.

Dejan Kulusevski- 5

Poor from the Swede tonight, too many of his touches went astray. Struggled to maintain possession of the ball and progress it up the field.

Heung-Min Son-5

A player with little to no confidence at the moment. Think it would be best for him to have some time out of the starting 11, for his and the team’s benefit.

Harry Kane- 7

Time after time, Kane gets Spurs out of trouble. A typical Kane finish put Spurs ahead just before half-time. He should have arguably had a second as well, heading the ball straight at Leno from just 2 yards out.

Subs:

Richarlison- 5

Yves Bissouma- 5
