With Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and summer arrival, Tanguy Ndombele, picking up a hamstring problem in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City, and then missing last weekend’s clash with Newcastle United, plenty of fans are concerned that he won’t make manager Mauricio Pochettino’s first team squad for the North London Derby this Sunday against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
With the 22-year-old missing out on the French squad for their upcoming games in September as we suffer the first international break of the year, a number of fans on social media feared that with him not being included in the group, that it would mean he wasn’t available for this weekend’s clash and basically that his injury was far worse than originally feared.
We haven’t yet had the team update from what I can see, but PhysioRoom’s injury table does list him as being out, and worryingly they have him down as having a potential return date of September 14.
Given the impact he’s had since arriving over the summer from Lyon, that will certainly be a blow if true.

Spurs will just announce Tanguy is doubtful for the next three months instead of telling us now he’s out for three months. It’s just the way do things.
