With the rumour mill in full flow for Tottenham Hotspur and football in general as we look towards the summer and the coming 2019/20 campaign, one rumour that won’t go away are links with Barcelona attacker Malcom.
Spanish outlet Sport are simply the latest to link us to the 22-year-old Brazilian this year but having cost Barcelona a reported £36.5million last summer when he made the switch from Bordeaux, he hasn’t really impressed with his 11 starting appearances and 12 substitute showings – although he has scored four times in those matches.
Last summer and across January the press believed he was nailed on for a move to Everton, and it simply seems to be the case that this time around, we are the club of choice.
With natural doubts about him the report claims our interest in the player ‘is known’ and it hasn’t gone over well with these fans who took to social media to react to the speculation.
