Match Thread – CL Final Spurs v Liverpool – Klipp Klopp & Make History

|

Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a good 2018/19 campaign under the continued charge of manager Mauricio Pochettino and we now have the opportunity to rewrite history in a hugely positive way as we take to the pitch to battle with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side in the Champions League Final out in Madrid on Saturday, June 1.

Having secured our top four spot for the year and returned to our new White Hart Lane Stadium (eventually) despite a massively troubling injury list that ruled plenty of key players out for periods of time, Liverpool have had their own decent season coming in as Premier League runners-up, so nobody will be taking this match lightly.

It’s been a season where we’ve largely just done enough, more often than not, so we have to hope that form continues for one more game.

With an ongoing injury list, we’ll have to see who makes the final matchday squad of the season, but it’s in our hands and we have to take the opportunity and seize it.
