In a very bleak landscape, good news has been hard to come by, but it seems Tottenham Hotspur have given their fans something to smile about at least, as they’ve provided an update of sorts on Moussa Sissoko, who if football was ongoing would be close to a return (Tottenhamhotspur.com).
“We need to stick together and hopefully, in a few weeks or few months, we’ll have a better world.”

The French midfielder has claimed that his knee feels ‘fine’ after recovering from a lengthy lay-off and that he’s been in training for a couple of weeks now. Now, though, it’s not an injury but the Coronavirus that is stopping him from playing football, as the season is postponed.
The supporters still enjoyed hearing from their fan favourite nonetheless and will be keen to see him back out on the pitch as soon as possible, even if they’re in for a long wait owing to the ban on football until at least April 30th (Sky Sports).

Probably one of the most loved player in our squad now, along with Son.

The Lilywhites clearly love Sissoko, and the sooner he’s back along with top-flight football the better.
