Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has had a great season under manager Mauricio Pochettino in our successful 2018/19 campaign and he’s certainly shown the fans what he’s truly capable of on the pitch.
It’s not a stretch to say that he’s effectively been reborn this year following his £30million arrival from Newcastle United a few years back, and Sissoko put the cat amongst the pigeons the other day when it came to the summer transfer rumour mill by politely suggesting that Spurs should make a move for Lille’s right sided attacker Nicolas Pepe.
The 23-year-old attacker has had a great season himself and the Ivorian international has scored 23 goals and provided 11 assists for his Ligue 1 side in 39 matches across the campaign and having been linked with Spurs previously, Sissoko stated there was no reason why he couldn’t be at White Hart Lane next season.
It seems fans certainly liked the cut of his jib as they reacted to his interview on social media.
