Jose Mourinho might have his critics, but one thing the Portuguese manager can do better than anyone is win silverware, something Tottenham are in need of.
Am I the only one that wouldn’t mind taking a shot with Mourinho? Even if he is here for 3-4 years he will win us trophies and winning football matches.

It has been 11 years since Tottenham’s last domestic honour when the north London side Mourinho’s former side Chelsea in the 2008 League Cup final, with Jonathan Woodgate scoring in extra-time to secure Spurs’ first and only piece of silverware this decade.
Has The Right Man Gone?
Yes
No
And Tottenham supporters on social media believe that this run of no trophies will come to an end with the appointment of Mourinho, with the Portuguese manager winning silverware at every club he has managed as records from Transfermarkt show.
Here’s what Tottenham fans had to say about Mourinho’s chances of winning silverware with Spurs, with lots of supporters placing their trust in the former Manchester United manager to deliver…
Under him, London will be white for the next 2-3 years.

It might be just crazy enough to work honestly. He’d definitely shake things up.

Just been speaking to my mate about this, completely agree. Even 2-3 years, he would win a trophy or 2 and be able to attract big names. His style at Porto and early Chelsea days was actually good, counter attacking at pace. Tactically brilliant too. For me its him or Benitez

Absolutely! I want to at least see players like Son and Moura holding up a trophy in a Spurs shirt..

It has been 11 years since Spurs last won silverware, and lots of supporters believe Mourinho will be the man to end that barren run…
You’re not alone. I’ve been #MourinhoIn for quite awhile, assuming Poch’s time was up.

Well up for it. Proven winner, winds people up, no risk, bring it on.

Jose Mourinho is a winner, that’s what we need now

He HAS always won in his first couple years

Tottenham’s best chance of silverware this season will seemingly be the FA Cup with Spurs currently 14th in the Premier League table and looking unlikely to mount another run to the Champions League final.
