According to a report from L’Equipe, Spurs have ‘intensified‘ their negotiations to bring in Paris-Saint Germain right-back Thomas Meunier on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires – prompting some supporters to discuss the development on Twitter.
Meunier, who has started just 14 Ligue 1 games for PSG this season, is currently facing a lack of game time having fallen down manager Thomas Tuchel’s pecking order over 2019/2020.
The Belgian international, overall, has made 128 appearances for the French champions since signing for the league leaders back in 2016 after impressing at the Euros, but now may be the time to move on.
Should we sign Meunier on a free?
Yes
No
As a result, Spurs have reportedly come knocking for his signature – especially considering the fact he has made more tackles and interceptions on average this season than Toby Alderweireld according to WhoScored.
Our supporters, however, have plenty of reviews surrounding the signing – with some labelling it ‘great business‘ and ‘Levy’s ideal signing‘ while others express different opinions.
