According to a report from ESPN, Tottenham will grant manager Jose Mourinho a £25 million transfer kitty this summer to bolster his squad in preparation for next campaign – resulting in plenty of Spurs fans reacting to the update on Twitter.

Due to recent events, footballing finances at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium look precarious in regards to ingoing and outgoing expenditure – with chairman Daniel Levy and the Spurs board taking measures in order to save money.

Should Mourinho be granted more money to spend?

Yes

No, understandable given circumstances

One of these precautions, as per this ESPN report, is to cut Mourinho’s spending power down to a £25 million grant for the summer transfer window – providing an ‘emergency buffer’ amid unprecedented times in north London and around the globe.

However, despite the circumstances, many Spurs supporters have flocked to the update – branding Levy’s supposed move as ‘jackanory‘ among other responses.

History is repeating its self once again, only this time Jose is the recipient…. Levy had done the same thing to pooch in two windows, and look where spurs and pooch are now.. Only this time levy is trying to keep his face by disclosing a piggy bank kitty… One wonder spurs will always be inferior to the big boys😠
