After scoring on his Tottenham debut against Manchester City, Steven Bergwijn has quickly been catapulted into cult hero status at Spurs, and his latest comments have only cemented his legacy with the club.

In an interview with The Guardian, the former PSV speedster admitted that father was a driving factor in Bergwijn making his move to Tottenham last month, with the Dutch attacker revealing that he simply couldn’t turn down a move to the Premier League giants when the came calling in the January transfer window.
