“He’s going to be superb” – These Spurs fans do not rue missing out on 25 y/o star

These Tottenham fans do not regret missing out on Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes because we have Giovani Lo Celso.

The 25-year-old completed his move from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon for £47m in January and was linked with a move to join us in North London during the January transfer window.

Fernandes has had a good start to life in the Premier League with two goals and three assists from his first five games (as per TransferMarkt), but we decided to make Giovani Lo Celso’s loan deal from Real Betis permanent for £27.2m.

The Argentinian has just two goals in 27 appearances this season but the Tottenham faithful have high hopes for him going forward.

Supporters were not concerned about missing out on Fernandes and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that Lo Celso is going to be superb, and don’t need the United midfielder as a result.
