On Saturday, Colombia took an interesting victory over Argentina in the Copa America Group B clash and Tottenham Hotspur fans had reason to be interested in the action, as we naturally had a few players away on international duty for the competition.

On Argentina’s side of life, we had Juan Foyth to look out for, but he didn’t make his way onto the pitch this time. With strong speculation about our apparent interest in 23-year-old Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso he did however get 90 minutes under his belt and he would’ve caught the eye for some no doubt.

On the opposite side, Davison Sanchez was in the heart of Colombia’s defence alongside Everton centre-half Yerry Mina, and the 23-year-old certainly took the opportunity to impress as he faced off against Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero.

With a 2-0 victory, clearly Sanchez had a good game and plenty of Spurs fans were raving about his own performance on social media both during and after the game.
