Ahead of the EFL Cup clash later this evening between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as we look to book our place in the final and complete the job with a first leg advantage, the club confirmed that manager Mauricio Pochettino’s injury worries had subsided slightly.
Lucas Moura, Mousa Sissoko and Victor Wanyama had all returned to training for Wednesday’s sessions and although you certainly wouldn’t anticipate that Wanyama would come back into Poch’s thoughts – Moura and Sissoko based on their time out should come into contention, even if it was only a place on the substitutes bench.

It was another image on social media posted up that got some attention as well.

16-year-old Troy Parrott can be seen on the right of the picture from training and plenty took that as proof that he would come into contention – bench at least – for the game and all plenty of fans wanted to see what that Kazaiah Sterling would join him for the experience, even if they don’t actually get any minutes on the pitch.
Progress to the final is obviously the important thing, but it would top a victory nicely if either could get at least a cameo given how highly rated they are for the future.
