Tottenham Hotspur left back Danny Rose has certainly come in for criticism in the fanbase in recent years, whether that be related to his performances or his off pitch interviews, but 2018/19 has seen quote a resurgence from him and the praise rightly followed.
With the 28-year-old speaking recently about his future at White Hart Lane given the rumour mill speculation again suggesting that we’ll make him available this summer and move him on, his choice of words seemed to create a mixed reaction amongst fans.
“Not About Regular First Team Football” – Improved Spurs Star Discusses His Future Again
For some, they didn’t believe his comment about the club moving people on at a certain age was entirely accurate given Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and others on the playing staff, but plenty saw it as further proof that he’s just an honest kind of character who calls things as he sees it – whether it’s football, opinions or even his earlier words on racism and the reaction of the authorities in their response.
If you take that one quote in isolation I think it gives it a different flavour in some ways, but the interview as a whole, I’m not sure there’s anything to actually criticise him for here myself.
Watch people slate him for saying this????????guys one of the best at the club if he goes all the best

Shame, love Danny’s desire and mentality. Excellent player.

Gets a bad press unfairly so.

Do you believe this though Trev? Jan is still here and he is 4 years older than rose and we bought llorente.

It's not even accurate, he's talking rubbish and fans will believe it without thinking about it – only (kind of) comparison is Dembele but that's different as he was 3-4 yrs older and in last 6 months of contract, injured a lot, got a move to China

I don’t think supper Danny has probably thought that through
It’s clearly nonsense we’ve got plenty of players older than he is
Nonetheless we need to strengthen right back, if we let super Danny go that would be very very stupid
