With Tottenham Hotspur announcing our released list for the summer of 2019 at the end of last week, plenty of fans were quick to spy that hugely rated youngster Jack Roles had been handed a contract extension and that he’d already signed it – committing his future at White Hart Lane until the summer of 2021.

I believe in the campaign of 2018/19, he found the back of the net 15 times and added eight assists, but I certainly remember the calls for him to be promoted alongside Troy Parrott when injuries began hitting our senior squad during the year.
I certainly agree with the thoughts that say get him out on loan next season so he can really kick on.
