“Eriksen replacement”, “Take this all day” – Many Spurs fans beg Levy to secure “great deal”

According to a report from the Independent, Barcelona are willing to offer either Nelson Semedo or Philippe Coutinho in a swap for Spurs club record signing Tanguy Ndombele – prompting many supporters to gush over a potentially ‘great deal‘ for the latter man.

Ndombele, as per recent reports, has had a fall out with manager Jose Mourinho over his lack of playing time, with Barca now allegedly swooping in to take advantage of the situation.

Should Spurs swap Ndombele for Coutinho?

No, Ndombele still has more to prove

Quique Setien’s side are apparently eager to sign the Frenchman operating on a tight budget, so much so that the Catalans are willing to offer playmaker Coutinho who has been on loan at Bayern Munich this season.

Commanding a £200,000-per-week wage according to Football Insider, Coutinho’s pedigree in the English top flight could be a huge incentive to pursue – with many Spurs fans begging chairman Daniel Levy to go for it.
