With photographic proof being released by Tottenham Hotspur yesterday of England striker Harry Kane’s early return to action as he took to the training pitch to join the lads as he continues to make his early come back from injury – well, plenty of fans were intensely happy about the development given all the unsubstantiated media reports.
The press, in fairness, nailed this one as those that claimed the Premier League clash against Burnley was most likely the potential return match, were proven right, and that almost seemed likely once manager Mauricio Pochettino gave his recent interview basically confirming our 25-year-old was on track for a quicker return than originally anticipated.

Whether he is used this weekend or even on the bench is down to Poch, simply being back is a massive bonus and will no doubt be a lift to the other players despite us managing admirably without him (domestic Cups aside).
Having already covered the positive reactions to his return – it’s fair to say there were some that fall under the humourous bracket, so I thought I’d separate them.
