I can’t imagine this one is true even for a second but Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a raid on West Ham United for striker Marko Arnautovic.
The 29-year-old’s talent as a football are clear for plenty to see but the Austrian isn’t a dyed in the wool forward player and he’s only returned 19 goals for the Hammers in just over 50 appearances following his arrival from Stoke City for a reported £24million back in the summer of 2017.
His record at Stoke was even worse, but having played up to get the move, he’s playing up now again to get another one and I’m not alone in believing he’s not a player that manager Mauricio Pochettino would want to work with given his attitude.

He’s certainly not cover for any of our attacker, let alone Harry Kane so the report from the Sun suggesting we are the favourites for his capture leave me thinking – well, it’s the Sun.
Factor in a reported fee of around £45million and even Daniel Levy will be laughing at the nonsense our media get away with at this time of year.
