Spurs Suffer Another Blow With Alli Ruled Out For Over A Month

|

Tottenham Hotspur have suffered another massive blow as yesterday the club confirmed that Dele Alli was now sidelined until March.

The 22-year-old England man has been in good form for us this year as he’s scored seven times in 25 appearances for manager Mauricio Pochettino but in last Sunday’s Premier League tie against Fulham at Craven Cottage, he had to be substituted off in the 86th minute of the game with what everyone believed was a hamstring problem.

Having undergone tests and scans, it is the worst possible news for us and it’s expected he returns to training in early March, so it is a lengthy spell at just the wrong time for us given our existing injury issues.

The reaction from Spurs fans was as you’d expect on the above Tweet, they wanted the gaffer to be backed in the January market to now bolster the group given the way ‘big names’ are dropping.

With just over a week left in the market, you wouldn’t expect any late move would you really.
