It’s been reported this week that Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen could be about to end his unfortunate spell at the club as Burnley are said to be sniffing around with a potential £15million offer for the 24-year-old.
Having headed into White Hart Lane from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar for a reported £17million back in the summer of 2016, it’s fair to say he didn’t really hit the ground running and in the years since he’s only made 12 starting appearances for us, with a further 27 showings from the substitutes bench. Across those games, he’s returned six goals.
Having been left out of our relevant squads this year, he hasn’t made a single appearance as he battled back from injury. Last season, he made more appearances for his country than he did us ahead of the Fenerbahce loan move and manager Mauricio Pochettino has made no secret of the fact we have long wanted to move him on.

£15million from Burnley would suit absolutely everyone here and let the lad get his career back on track as the move hasn’t gone how anyone hoped.
Genuinely think he'd be excellent at Burnley. Not top 4 quality but would do well at a mid table club with a good run of games.

He would do really well at them just doesnt suit our style of football

This makes good sense at both ends. Think he could really do a job there too actually.

Be a good move for him. He's a good player

I’ll drive him there myself.

He may do. But this would include all his goals in training too.
