“Better than Sessegnon” – Some Spurs fans flock to update on “very talented” ex-Poch target

According to a report from the Times, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho wishes to bring Leicester City winger Demarai Gray to north London following the acquisition of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – prompting some supporters to react over the ‘very talented‘ 24-year-old.

Gray, who has scored just two goals and assisted three others this season, certainly divides the opinions of these Lilywhites – especially considering he has made the vast majority of his appearances this campaign from the substitute’s bench.

Let's start at the start: What year did Spurs sign Bale?

Despite having an abundance of wide players at our disposal, Mourinho is apparently interesting in signing Gray after we manage to land Hojbjerg in an alleged swap deal with Kyle Walker-Peters.

Claiming that he is ‘miles better than Sessegnon‘, some Spurs supporters have flocked to have their say – becoming divided over a potential swoop for the youngster on social media.

Ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was targeting him back in 2018 according to the Sun, but these fans still hold reservations mixed with excitement.

Here’s what they had to say.

Take him please, all promise and no delivery. He hasn’t progressed in 3 seasons.Only used as an impact sub and rarely successful.Spurs fans may argue that mourn no will get the best from him but 4 managers at Leicester couldn’t.The money would be good though.
