Danny Rose impressed for Tottenham Hotspur in Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion and was lauded by supporters on social media. The 28-year-old has been a regular at left-back under Mauricio Pochettino, but his future at the club has been uncertain.
Numerous reports have alleged Spurs will consider offers for Rose this summer, but his performance against Brighton suggests he’s willing to stay for the long haul. Rose played a full 90 minutes, made 97 touches and 66 passes with 83% accuracy.

Danny Rose definitely the stand out player for me. Battled everything and unlucky not to score for his efforts. One or two players need to question their performance tonight. Where was Trip's crosses to Llorente? Not sure Dele was up for it. Lacked decisiveness.#COYS #THFC

Some #THFC takeaways from #TOTBHA:
1) Rose was immense tonight. Never stopped running, providing some bright moments in attack and solidity in defence.
2) Wanyama also very impressive, putting in his third standout display in a row. Wonderful turnaround considering his injuries.— Guy Giles (@gwfgiles) April 23, 2019

The England international whipped in four crosses, created one chance, made two successful dribbles, had two shots (one on target), was fouled four times, won three aerial duels, made three tackles and two interceptions. He was tireless down the left flank and showed real commitment in his defensive duties. Fans couldn’t wish for a better performance.
The win sees Tottenham solidify third place in the Premier League table, moving three points clear of fourth-placed Chelsea, four clear of Arsenal (5th) and six clear of Manchester United (6th). Next up for Mauricio Pochettino’s side are West Ham United (home) on April 27. A win could all but secure Champions League football for next season if results go their way.
