“Another Levy masterclass”, “Missed the boat” – Transfer news has many Spurs fans fuming

According to football.london journalist Alasdair Gold, speaking in a Q&A last week, Tottenham Hotspur have now been ‘priced out’ of a move for Aston Villa star Jack Grealish – with fans since going on to react to the development on Twitter. 

Grealish, who has starred for Villa this season, scoring seven goals and assisting six others in 26 league starts, has been linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for some time now – with a summer bid back in 2018 falling flat and well below his valuation according to a past report from the Guardian. 

Now, with Grealish attracting a host of suitors including Premier League giants Man United, it has been revealed that the midfielder is now far beyond Spurs’ price range – with supporters taking to social media in frustration at the news.
