Alarming Pochettino update fuels fire that he’s leaving this summer

|

Mauricio Pochettino’s future is, unfortunately, going to be subject to much speculation and interest this summer and we’re just going to have to get on with it.

Having one of the best managers in the world always causes such issues and with the Juventus job available for next season, the links are obviously going to be made.

Worryingly, too, the latest reports in Italy suggest that Pochettino has said yes to taking the job for next season.

Nicolo Schira reports in Italian:

https://twitter.com/NicoSchira/status/1131154257460248581?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1131154257460248581&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fthisisfutbol.com%2F2019%2F05%2Fblogs%2Fschira-delivers-poch-to-juventus-update%2F

Roughly, this translates that meetings have taken place between representatives whilst Pochettino has also given his word that he will take over ahead of a 4-year deal, which is pretty alarming.

Until we actually see him leaving the club for Turin, though, we’d probably be better off trying to ignore such rumours as much as possible.

This is substantial, though, so let’s just hope it proves inaccurate in the coming weeks.
