“Absolute Legend” – Former Spurs Player Delights These Fans With Class Prank

|

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas needs no introduction to Spurs fans, and he doesn’t shirk his love for the club whilst on pundit duties either.

Harsh in his criticism, and usually glowing in his praise, there is an understandable ongoing rivalry with the rest of the BBC team when it comes to Alan Shearer, Ian Wright and the other former players he crosses paths with.

On Sunday, whilst plenty of fans were still down after the defeat to Bournemouth, Jenas did his best to cheer them up and took to social media with a simple little photo of former Arsenal striker Wright.

Fans naturally loved his quick witted reaction to seeing his fellow colleague and former foe enjoying a moment of rest and relaxation, and I think we can all imagine his response on waking, but that’s definitely 1-0 to Jenas when it came to Sunday’s rivalry banter.

The fact Sunday also saw Manchester United blow their Champions League hopes and Arsenal, as they were held by Brighton and Hove Albion, a bad weekend suddenly became an awful lot better.
