Match Thread – Please Don’t Poch It Up Now – 2 More Massive Performances Required Starting With Ajax

|

With more disappointment for Tottenham Hotspur in the weekend’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth at Dean Court, Spurs have – for the moment – blown the battle for the top four wide open again when victory would’ve guaranteed our place in the competition for next season.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino and the players can’t let that hang around their necks though as we have to recuperate and recover for Wednesday evening’s Champions League Semi-Final second leg clash with Dutch side Ajax.

An impressive performance from them at White Hart Lane sees them come into the second leg with a 1-0 advantage, but based on what we saw and how we ended the game, if we can see the Spurs we know and love, a place in the final is more than up for grabs and that would be a massive boost going into the final game of the year against Everton.

The question, as ever though is, has the squad now been pushed past breaking point given all the injuries we’ve had to juggle or do we have it in us for two more massive performances to make a good year, end better.

Over to the players…

Edit – clearly written before Manchester United and Arsenal developed a serious case of the Spursy’s.

It’s in our hands COYS!
