With Tottenham coming oh so close to signing Paulo Dybala in the summer transfer window as reported by Four Four Two, it seems like it will be a will before another world-class name is again heavily linked with a move to north London, but that next player has seemingly been revealed.

Spanish paper El Desmarque claim that Tottenham are interested in Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly along with Real Madrid, and that €100m (£84m) will be needed to pry Napoli away from one of their star assets.
Will Mourinho fix the defence?
Yes
No
A move for the Senegal international would be an audacious and brilliant move from Spurs who are in need to fix their defence with the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both potentially leaving the club next summer when their contracts expire, and Tottenham fans on social media were buzzing about the possibility of filling the centre-back spot with Koulibaly.
Here’s what Tottenham fans had to say about the potential of the club going in for Koulibaly, with lots of supporters begging the club go in for the Serie A defender…
Hearing a lot of this.
Would be a bigger deal than getting Dybala if we got him.
We don’t need more mercurial attackers.

He would be a great player but I think as a signing is too ambitious for Tottenham they will never afford his wages. But if it is true that would be amazing #THFC #COYS

Would be a great partnership with he and Sanchez in the future when vertonghen and Toby leave .
